Like many professional organizations, AWC needs input from all of us to determine its direction. We've been doing many good things and winning awards for them, but we need to come up with new strategics to attract and keep our members. We are fortunate to have the complimentary guidance of facilitator Jennifer Moriarty, a Vice President of Wells Fargo Bank. Please carve out your Friday evening and all day Saturday to help us create an organization that benefits all of us.

Jennifer Martens Moriarty has served as the Vice President for Community Development for Wells Fargo
Bank since 2005. Responsibilities include managing Wells
Fargo Bank's commitment to the Community Reinvestment Act by ensuring that the Bank's products and
services address the needs of diverse communities with
emphasis on the unmet needs of low- and moderate-income individual through affordable housing, financing for
small business, job training programs and other initiatives
that revitalize or stabilize low- and moderate-income communities. Jennifer coordinates, trains and recommends
volunteer activities and non-profit board engagement for
team members and manages the bank's community contribution's program.
Jennifer holds an MBA from St. Mary's University, a BBA in Finance from Southwest
Texas State University and has attended numerous banking, compliance and community development training programs. She is certified as an Economic Development
Finance Professional by the National Development Council. Jennifer has completed
training in the Technology of Participation (ToP) with the Institute of Cultural Affairs
in ToP Facilitation Methods and ToP Strategic Planning and provides strategic planning services in the community.
She has served on numerous community boards and currently serves on the boards
of Neighborhood Housing Services of San Antonio, Inc., Community Leadership
Institute, Family Violence Prevention Services. She is a member of the development
board of the University of the Incarnate Word, the Advisory Council for the UTHSC
School of Nursing and the Housing Advisory Committee of the Alamo Area Council of
Governments. She is a graduate of Leadership San Antonio XXIV, sponsored by the
Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce,
and was recognized in 2002 as one of San Antonio's 40 Under 40 Rising Stars by the
San Antonio Business Journal. She has received the UTSA Minority Business Development Center's Minority Business Advocate in Banking and Finance award and the
Juneteenth Legacy Award. Married to Kevin C. Moriarty, she has a son, age 15.
